September Activities:

Get your calendars out and pencil in our second nine and 18 hole mixer, which will be held on September 28 with a shotgun start at 1:30 in the afternoon. Sign up in the locker room. This is a wonderful 9-hole event and open to all RWGG members. We strongly encourage all to play...no handicaps needed...just good cheer! And stick around afterwards to spread more cheer in the Grille tavern! Happy hour prices will prevail!

Also for your calendar, the closing day dinner will be held on October 14th.  Socializing begins at 5:15 at the ROCK.

August Activities:

8/1-2 RWGG Club Championship and our winner is Ellie Large!!!

The 2-day club championship was held concurrently with the men's league so it was a fun and exciting weekend! Thanks to all the players and the gallery for adding energy and drama to the final day. The women put on quite the show with a very tight race and Ellie had a 2-stroke lead to finish on the 18th to beat out Katy Bradford who won low net...well done you two! This makes the Ellie a two time, back to back winner...2025 & 2026!!!

8/23 Our Annual Solheim Cup Match Play Tournament against Timberlin will occur on Sunday, August 23rd at Timberlin.  The sign up sheet for this popular event is also located on the bulletin board in the locker room.  We usually field between 16 and 18 players.  Tee times usually start mid-morning.  The format will be announced soon.  Questions?  contact Mary Gillette

Wine and Cheese Party on July 23 : CHECK OUT THE PHOTO TAB TO SEE PICS!

The evening at Ann Wolinsky's house was wonderful! 25+ league members plus one 4-legged guest enjoyed the fine evening of wine and amazing food! Thank you everyone for participating and bringing treats. Special shout outs to Ann for hosting and Mary for supplying the wine. We had a great time catching up on our off-course interests and adventures.

June Activities:

June 10th Member/Member: A big congrats for the championship to the team of Donna Maradie and Colleen Mattatall, who through a difficult final 6 format of both balls counting came in with a +20.  It was nip and tuck for a number of teams.  We had a great turnout for this event so thanks to all for playing.

June 24th Member/Guest Tournament. Outstanding turnout this year with 70 golfers participating!!! The big winners were the team of Barb Corcoran, Katie French, Theresa Dehm, and Kelly Zabel (gross) and Jill Schumacher, Pam Keagan, Katie Bradford, and Stephanie Lavado-Berghorn (net).  Check out the pictures in the Photo tab!!!

MAY Activities:

May 20th is Pick your Partner Day!

May 6th was Opening Day and a Stableford event. Lots of players showed up wearing thier red, white or blue team Stableford shirt plus several more layers of clothing to stay warm and dry. Many thanks to the field of 35 players who brought items for Food Share…you did an amazing job and the Food Share people were over the top happy with our response to help the community! Below is only half of the food we donated. Well done everyone!

Of special note too, was the outstanding play exhibited by our Colleen Mattatall who shot an 86 and scored 50 Stableford points for the Rockledge Rockets Blue Team!

April Activities

April 15th was our first official day of play and Mother Nature gave us plenty of sunshine!

18 HOLERS watch your emails for the invitation from Golf Genius and click PLAY! Golf Genius will create the foursomes and send you another email with your tee time for 4/15.

9 HOLERS: Contact the Monday and Wednesday leaders: Maureen and Wanda, respectively.
