We listened to your survey comments and we made changes!

Mary Gillette gave us the highlights from this year’s survey and compared some of the results to the last survey taken in 2022. The following items of interest from the survey resulted in changes for 2025.

·         Players wanted the opportunity to play with a friend and Rosie created 5 tournaments in which this will happen. They are noted in the pink bulletin that was distributed by Sue Peters.

·         Many players liked the idea of a Social Membership and Sue Peters added this option to the 2025 registration form.  She did not receive any social membership registrations for this year. A social membership will give a member the opportunity to join all players at social events like the Wine and Cheese party, Closing Night Dinner and Member-Guest tournament. We encourage all members who step away from a full membership to stay connected to the Golf Group.

·         The Consolation Tournament will become a regular tournament instead of a major. The Member-Member Tournament with a 2-ball format will become a major.

·         Of the responding members, 95% have to cap the handicap at 40. All players who have a handicap of 40+ will be included in all tournaments but using 40 as their handicap.
