The 2026 Stableford winning team is the Rockets!!!!

The Firecrackers (RED) held the lead all year long but a last minute push by the Rockets (BLUE) over the Labor Day weekend vaulted the team into the lead and the win!!!  Congrats to all for a great season of competition.

Stableford standings as of 8/18 and the race is still really close:  Firecrackers are still in the lead but the results are very tight...all teams are still in contention with one more Stableford event left to go in Sept 2nd....don't forget to bring Foodbank supplies!

1st Place: Firecrackers (red shirts) with an average of 30.05 points

2nd Place: Rockets (blue shirts) with an average of 29.75 points

3rd Place: Sparklers (white shirts) with an average of 29.45 points

Stableford standings as of 6/26 and the race is still really close: Firecrackers have pulled ahead and moved into first place.  Sparklers and Rockets are within two tenths of each other for second and third.  The race will continue July 26th.  Good playing everyone!!

Here are the three teams for NEW TOURNAMENT for this summer and its called TEAM STABLEFORD!

We will divide the league up into 3 teams: evenly matched by handicap and flights and we will compete on four different days throughout the season.

Rockledge Sparklers – White shirts 

Rockledge Firecrackers – Red shirts

Rockledge Rockets – Blue shirts

There will be 5 rounds to the tournament and players will be assigned by Golf Genius just like our usual sign up. You don't have to sign up for anything special....just show up, wear your team shirt and have fun! The winning team will be the team with the best average score (total team score divided by number of player rounds contributing to the total) and Golf Genius takes care of this, too!  Everyone is encouraged to play on these special days because the scoring is a bit different and you will help your team regardless of handicap!

Event Schedule & Scoring

·         Five Team Stableford days during the season

·         All players receive their full course handicap

·         Points are based on Stableford scoring that uses net score

·         Scores and points are calculated automatically using Golf Genius

·         Team standings are determined by the best average score across the five events

The winning team at season’s end will receive cash payouts, based on how many Team Stableford rounds each player competed in.

Stableford Points (Per Hole – Net Score)

·         Net Double Bogey or worse : 0 points

·         Net Bogey: 1 point

·         Net Par: 2 points

·         Net Birdie: 3 points

·         Net Eagle (Net −2): 4 points

·         Net Double Eagle: 8 points

·         Hole‑in‑One (gross): 10 points

Handicap strokes are shown on your scorecard as dots.

Giving Back

On Team Stableford days, voluntary donations will be collected to support local food banks.
